Job Description

Reston Montessori is seeking a progressive and dynamic Montessori trained lead teacher for our Infant program. The ideal candidate is a hardworking teaching professional with in-depth knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and classroom experience.

Responsibilities

An ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to take care of the Infant program as a team that includes assistants and childcare professionals.

• Should be able to develop and maintain the classroom environment.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with staff and parents.
• Demonstrate self-disciplined.
• Demonstrates leadership skills
• Work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• AMS/AMI Infant and Toddler certification
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience leading a classroom with children aged 3 months-18 months.
• A warm, positive and loving attitude towards children.
