Reston Montessori is seeking a progressive and dynamic Montessori-trained lead teacher for our Toddler program for the upcoming school year 2022-23. The ideal candidate is a hardworking teaching professional with in-depth knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and classroom experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities

An ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to take care of the Toddler program as a Lead Teacher.

• Should be able to develop and maintain the classroom environment.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with staff and parents.
• Demonstrate self-disciplined.
• Demonstrates leadership skills
• Work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• AMS/AMI Infant and Toddler certification.
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience leading a classroom with children aged 18 months to 3 years.
• A warm, kind, positive, and loving attitude towards children
