Job Description

Reston Montessori School is seeking a part time Physical Education Teacher to serve Toddler thru Elementary age students.

Responsibilities

• Ability to select and plan appropriate physical education programs for each age level.
• Must have a high level of energy and an interest in working with young children.
  Practical knowledge and ability to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in students, appropriate for individual age levels.
• Practical knowledge and ability to play various team sports and games.
  Must know the rules for all games and must teach students according to their ability and interest.
• Strong observational skills to assess strengths and weaknesses of individual children.

Qualifications

Qualified candidate will have at least 2 years prior experience as a Physical Education Teacher.
An Associate degree or higher, with a major or minor in Physical Education, is preferred.
